Sign in

Railyard is passwordless. Enter your email and we send you a one-time sign-in link; where your organisation has configured it, you can use single sign-on with Google, GitHub or an enterprise provider instead. There is nothing to remember and no password to leak. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and no card is required to begin.

Your example estate

The first time you sign in, Railyard seeds a small, fully-cabled example — a spine-leaf design across a couple of data centres — and drops you straight into it. It is a real project you can edit, break and rebuild, so you are never staring at an empty canvas wondering what to do next. Start fresh whenever you like with + New project.

Take the tour

A short guided walkthrough opens over the example on first load. It follows the real order of building an estate — read the tree, add structure, stock the library, place and wire devices, review the design, then export — rather than listing buttons. You can reopen it any time from the ? in the tool rail.

Create a project

Click + New project, name it, and choose a starting point: a blank estate comes seeded with sensible rack types and a naming scheme so it is usable immediately, or clone the sample to get the demo estate on demand. The name becomes the project's URL slug — see the estate model for how naming and deep links work.

Find your way around

• The estate tree on the left holds every location, data centre, row and rack. Click a level to open it on the board.
• The board in the middle is the canvas — a floor plan at the upper levels, a rack elevation once you are inside a rack.
• The inspector on the right edits whatever is selected — a device, a cable, a rack.
• The tool rail holds the library, export, sharing, review and the shortcut sheet. Press ? for the full keyboard reference, or ⌘K for the command palette.
